This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students are visual learners and highly motivated by the presentation of the materials being placed in front of them. A color printer will enable me to captivate their attention and keep them engaged. Applications and surveys are used to assess social-emotional learning. Having the ability to appeal to their sense of creativity. Visual learners tend to pay more attention to what they see and its colorful qualities. Having a beautiful and colorful printout stands out and captivates the audience. Life is colorful and sometimes we need a reminder of how beautiful it is through our senses. Because my students come from low-income family of color, they often do not have access to resources. Racial inequality is evident even in the lack of school resources.
