Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Unfortunately, our students do not have art class this year. As a classroom teacher, I want students to have a chance to express themselves through painting. It also alleviate any stress from the past few years of the pandemic.
I am requesting basic paint supplies such as brushes, easels, canvas, paint and of course paper towels for the messy but fun clean up.
The easels will help the students feel like real artists. I have also requested various colors of paint to let the students be creative. I decided canvas instead of paper, so the artwork can be hung up throughout the classroom.
