Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My little scientists deserve life long experiences to learn about science. I love their excitement to come to the science lab!!
They are always full of curiosity when entering the lab.
Most say science is their favorite subject and eager to learn about it.
Our students here are always well-mannered and respectful. I always have the best time teaching as they do learning. These little scientists have a big heart for science and a love for learning just like their teacher.
My Project
Brining "life" into the science lab will allow my students to grow and learn through hands on experiences. They may never experience having a pet in their home but these live fish and reptiles will open that opportunity up for them.
We will be caring for them, learning and researching about them.
Having live animals in the classroom will help my little learners to become independent thinkers and life long learners.
I plan to incorporate our turtle and fish in different subject areas such as writing about them, learning their life cycle and their history. Learning will come to life.
