Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

The students in my classroom require many hands-on learning experiences. My students learn best when I can meet their educational needs at their functional level.

Having access to a color printer in the classroom will allow for my students to make vivid connections to what they are learning.

The color printer will be used to create project-based learning activities that can be brought to life with color printing.

The curriculum that I work with is very community-based. We use a lot of signage. My students have a difficult time making the connections and generalizing their skills when they have black and white copies that the school provides.
