Life Cycles of a Frog and Butterfly!

My Project

My students learn best when they are able to experience life events first hand to help them better understand and process the world around them. Life cycles of different animals is a major interest of my students and is them understand how living things grow and change in various ways. I would like to teach my students about the life cycle of a butterfly and frog this spring and would love your help creating a hands on learning experience for them.

Providing my students with caterpillars and tadpoles will allow them to experience the life cycle right in front of their eyes, along with will allow them to gain compassionate skills and build responsibility as they take care of these classroom pets!

The other materials in this project will help them engage in additional hands on learning experiences to learn about the life cycles including read alouds, visual models of the life cycles, and ars and crafts activities to promote greater understanding. You're support is greatly appreciated!
