This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I look forward each Spring when I can introduce the lifecycle of the butterfly to my curious Kindergarteners. I can’t wait for my students to witness these changes first hand. The wonders of the butterfly life cycle are an amazing experience for young learners as they see the developments of each stage.

My students will be able to see the complete metamorphosis of caterpillars changing into butterflies through the live butterfly growing kits and hands-on specimen.

They will be able to take home flying butterflies to share with their families and dress up in the classroom with the fabric wings.
