This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
We will soon be learning about the lifecyles of plants, butterflies, and chickens.
What a better way to learn about lifecycles than to have an experiential learning approach where students are engaged and accountable for their learning.
We would like individual cups of butterfly larvae that each student will be in charge of. They will keep track of the stages and write it down in their journal.
We will also like to have butterfly cages when their caterpillars turn into chrysalis and they need a place to hang them. I usually just have 1 class butterfly cage but this year I'd like the students to be responsible.
