This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

My students are hard workers. They meet all challenges head-on our classroom slogan is “We don’t cry we try”.

They are problem solvers and look to me for guidance not answers.

They enjoy learning new things, challenges ,and project based learning. My students love school. There is nothing like a hands-on, project-based lesson to get those educational juices flowing.

This project is designed to help students develop the attitude, decision-making skills and mathematical acumen needed to set them on the right path to achieve personal financial success.

They will learn the implications of sound financial decision making and how to create and manage a budget that includes a savings and checking component. Students will be able to earn money to purchase items from the classroom store, using cash, card or check.
