My Project

Hello. My students are amazing! They are kind, empathetic, and diverse. Recently, we have seen a huge influx of Spanish-speaking learners. Last year was the first time a student asked for a book written in Spanish. Now the library has about 100 books in Spanish. While this is a small start, this is nowhere near enough!

We need Spanish books written at various levels, as my students have different reading levels (just like any other group of middle schoolers).

My goal for this project is for my students to become better readers in Spanish and English. I also want to learn more Spanish to be able to communicate better.
