Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

In today's world, technology has become the go-to for everything, and it has taken the place of almost everything. It is important that our students relearn the value of things off-screen, and reading books is one way we can teach them to imagine things with graphics they themselves imagine, not ones produced and pushed through.

Reading in any language is fundamental, and language learning grows through literacy and literature at any level.

Books in Spanish not only allow for more language growth, but allow students to learn about cultural practices and perspectives in a different way. By providing options for my classroom library, I can better fit the needs of my students who are all from diverse academic and personal backgrounds!
