My Students

My class is made up of 21 energetic and kind-hearted second graders. They come to school each day excited and ready to learn! My students are excited about reading, whether it's listening to a story at the carpet or finding a cozy corner to read a book independently.

My Project

Our library is a foundational piece of classroom. These materials will allow me to update our current library to ensure more stable shelves, easier organization, as well as book character "book buddies" that students can snuggle up with while they read.

It's important that books can be easily seen and organized in a way that students can help themselves.

Book character stuffed animals are a way for students to make a connection and be more comfortable while they read.

I hope to share my passion for reading with my students, and I believe that having an updated and more functional library will help that!
