My Students

My English Language Arts classroom is filled with learners at all levels. We are currently transitioning from a traditional Kindergarten through fifth grade elementary school to a Kindergarten through eight grade school by adding sixth grade this school year, and we will add seventh and eighth grades in the next two years.

We are creating the leaders, thinkers, and doers of the future at our school.

We provide rigorous academic instruction, provide opportunities to serve each other and our surrounding local and national communities, and we play and connect whenever possible.

My Project

These books will bring a much-need revitalization to our classroom library. While I've collected lots of great books over the years, many are in need of replacement and students love brand new books. Our sixth grade is the first at our school, and the books they have access to at the school library are primarily geared to younger readers - but as we grow, we are adding great titles there, too!

I am so excited to see their faces when they have all of the new titles to choose!

Many students are voracious readers and will gobble them up!
