These STEM kits include a variety of materials and components that allow students to design, build, and test their own projects. From constructing simple machines to exploring coding, the kits offer a range of activities that cater to different age groups and skill levels.
Through these kits, the library's goal is to empower students, boost their confidence, and foster a lifelong interest in engineering and STEM.
My students live in a rural environment and need more hands-on experiences with technology and problem-solving. Over half of our students come from economically disadvantaged households and we have immigrant students from Somalia and Mexico. The school library media center serves the important purpose of providing resources for our students and teachers. These STEM activities will provide the opportunity for students to build, create, and problem-solve. The great part is that students are learning while having fun.
