My Students

Our students and families are the heart of our school! It is an exceptional school with a diverse population, both ethnically and socioeconomically. My classroom is a home away from home for my students and I know that some days they spend more time with me, than they do with their own families. I am dedicated to making sure they feel comfortable, relaxed, and ready to learn every day! I want them to have the tools and resources they need to explore and create deeper understandings of the world around them. They grow so much in this first year of school, and my number one priority is helping them to love school, and giving them confidence as they start their educational journey!

My Project

Right now my students are putting our theme books in a bin on the floor in our classroom. The books have been getting pretty beat up as they fold and bend in the bin.

It would be wonderful to have a dedicated space that is designed to display books so children can see and access them quickly, while keeping our books in good condition.

I have a space all ready in our classroom for this much needed addition of furniture.

I also included some math Pop-It game boards for our math center time. The kids are obsessed with Pop-It toys, and I know this would be a big hit!
