My Students

I am at a new school this year. My class has amazing students who come to school every day, excited to learn more about the world around them. I believe that all children can achieve, and I work on creating a growth mindset.

I strive to create an environment where all of my students have access to the supplies they need to be successful.

I have a range of student needs and abilities, so it is important to extend and support learning.

My Project

We would like new shelves and seating for our classroom library. I strive to create a community of learners who love to read. Having more storage in our classroom library will allow my class to see our books better. Right now our amazing books are crammed onto two bookshelves. Having more space will allow us to organize the library according to the genre and student interest. It will also give us space to expand and add new books. I am also asking for a shelf that has seating. My kids love to read in the library area and I know they would love a comfy spot to sit.
