This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I am requesting high-interest books for all students at my school to check out from our school library. The library is a beloved place at our school. Unfortunately, many of our books are outdated and our students are not interested in them. I would love to give the library a little update with current book titles.
We want our students to have a love of learning and reading.
With high-interest books, that will happen!
Our librarian has tried to get the books returned that were checked out before COVID-19, but most students have lost them. Yes, the aftermath of COVID is still going strong! These books need replacing. Thank you so much for supporting public schools.
