My Project

Students need access to books that they want to read. By providing students with current, relevant books, they are able to find both mirrors into their own lives and windows into the lives of others.

Through books, students find passions that drive them further and they gain knowledge that will spur their interests.

They are able to build empathy for others and find kindness and compassion within their heart. Without access to books, none of this is possible.

My goal is to update my classroom library, so that my students can continue their journeys as readers. The books that were selected for this project will help create those experiences for them that they will hold onto for years to come.
