This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
I have a wonderful group of 4th graders! They are eager and motivated to learn! My goal is to create a safe and comfortable learning environment for my students to give the best that they possibly can, every day!
As a teacher, I try to always keep the compassion alive in me, especially for my students.
We see these children every day and sometimes don't know their struggles, their worries (tests can be a lot of pressure!) and there is no better way to connect with your students than understanding them. Doing so, I am learning on a daily basis that they need things that I cannot provide on my own. That is where generous donors from DonorsChoose.org come in--they (you) make this a reality for them. My Project
In our classroom, we move about during stations and we change things up very often. I want my students to have access to our classroom library no matter which type of activity we are doing.
With a small mobile library, we can move our library around the classroom so that it conveniently stays with the students who need it the most at any given time.
As my centers change depending on our unit, I can rest assured that my library will be able to accommodate all of our learning adventures.
This mobile library will benefit all my students and move freely around the room to encourage literacy!
