My Students

Show students the world of science by giving them a library of learning.

The students in my classroom attend a title I school, in which 90% receive free or reduced lunch.

The students come from a variety of ethnic groups and speak a language at home other than english. They love learning and are eager to learn about nature and the world around them.

My Project

Having these resources for my students will help them get a more vivid picture of what the ocean looks like, the forest looks like, different life cycles, and different science concepts. They will be able to enhance their science knowledge, while at the same time increasing their reading skills and strategies.

The main reason I am asking for these items is that many of my students would not get to experience these types of experiments/activities outside of the classroom.

So as a teacher I feel that it is my duty to bring experiences into the classroom to help my students learn, understand and experience things that are around them
