My Project

I am currently in the process of transitioning from being a traditional math teacher, you know the one - talking about a squared plus b squared equating to c squared and the quadratic formula, into teaching classes I am much more excited and passionate about, like Financial Algebra and Personal and Business Finance. I would like to provide my students with as many resources as possible so that they can start life off on a better foot than I did.

I am looking to build a library of financial literacy books, so my students can do book studies together in small groups, and learn about one of life's most important concepts: MONEY.

While I can teach the kids what not to do, from the mistakes I made in my younger years, I think it's also important to hear from a variety of sources in order to make the best decisions about their own personal view of finances.
