Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
This project is to fund additions to my classroom library. I am working to make my library the best it can be for my 6th - 8th graders.
A class set of dictionaries will supplement the curriculum and give students the ability to look up unknown words without the use of technology.
Also included in this project are bookcases and books centering Black, Brown, and Queer characters for my students to identify with. Representation empowers young people. There are also many books about life skills and growing up, to support students through these tough years.
