My Project

When children enjoy going to the library, it enhances their quest for reading and improves their literacy skills. In fact, there are five key benefits to reading: it reduces stress and helps one relax, improves concentration and memory, expands vocabulary and strengthens writing abilities, enhances knowledge and cognitive ability, and increases imagination and creativity.

My goal is to make our school library a comfortable place to learn and grow.

The library is a shared space throughout the building. Permanent structures are not conducive due to the multi-purpose nature of the space. By integrating flexible seating into the room, children are able to choose their own reading spots, get comfortable, and immerse themselves in a good book.
