This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Bookmarks serve the purpose of marking a spot and helping the reader remember where they left off -- no matter how much time has passed. Funny thing, bookmarks are oddly thrilling for young readers especially when that bookmark is scented. It might be because in a digital age of video's and social media, the old fashion way of reading from a printed book can be accompanied by the still useful old fashion bookmark that also smells like strawberries.

When a library is clean and filled with bookmarks galore, it can be a magical place that encourages reading from all the bookshelves.

This project also includes lots of cleaning products to keep our students and staff safe. Finally, printer cartridges are needed to keep our printer in the production zone of printing past due notices and pictures for our bulletin boards, laminating sheets for presentations and lessons, and wall decals to keep our library inviting and colorful.
