Help me give my students all these wonderful books for inquisitive minds for ages Kinder-sixth grade. My students will love and appreciate each book in our cart.
I have the most awesome students. They are kind, compassionate and caring. My students ask a bunch of questions.
My students are always up for new challenges and learning as much as they can in the short time we have library each week.
My students are K-6th grade. Some students have not found that hook book yet and I make it my mission to try and help them find it.
I know as a librarian how important reading is to all of our students. I want students to read for a life time. Sharing books with my students is always something my students look forward to. When you see their eyes glistening, happy smiling faces, I have the privilege of handing a student a book that they have waited a couple of weeks for is an amazing feeling for my students
and of course myself.
The feeling you get is compared to Christmas morning when you have not opened your presents yet. The sense of wonder, happiness all rolled up into one book. There is no better feeling.
My Project
My students can not get enough books to answer questions that they have on a regular basis. With these books the answers will be at their finger tips. Every book on this list will enrich students love of learning and achieving academic success on their own reading levels.
My students prefer a book to hold, look at, and turn the pages as opposed to a virtual book.
Students simply can't get enough books to read. They check out as many as six books at a time. They also come to open library every day if they want to. Students need as many books as possible to select from. Our school budget is never enough to make that happen. You can make that happen for them.
Because of COVID-19 our students have suffered through no fault of their own. To have them back at school and working so hard to achieve their goals is wonderful to witness. Reading books will help them to achieve every goal the students have set for themselves. Having interaction with other students and teachers is amazing to behold.
