it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Allow my students to discover the joy of reading science!
Many of my students lack access to books in their heritage language.
Having their own classroom library empowers them to choose what to read, practice at their own pace, and gain confidence as readers. This project will provide 8 engaging titles, 10 copies each, to build a classroom library where every student can read, share, and connect science to real life. Skills learned in one language often support learning in the other, so reading, writing, and critical thinking grow faster when instruction integrates both languages. Your support will help them grow as bilingual readers and curious learners who shape the world around them through science.
