Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Vocabulary.com allows teachers to provide specific word lists to the students to help them practice words we are working with in class. Students are able to practice at their own pace and are rewarded when they master a word. They are also able to look up and add words and lists of their own based on their knowledge, interests, and topics they want to learn about. It tracks all their progress and reports everything back to the teachers. We are then able to use this information so we will continue pre-teaching or reteaching specific vocabulary necessary for student learning.
