Leveling up With New Leveled Books

My Students

Each day I get to walk into a classroom of students that are from all over the world. They each bring something different to the classroom. They all are at different stages in their English language development, and that brings a new and different perspective to the classroom. I love working with such a diverse population.

Getting to teach in a school where we embrace diversity and are proud of it makes me love my job even more; getting to teach a group of students that can challenge me in my way of teaching makes me excited to try new things and think outside the box to figure out how they best learn.

I love that I am always looking for new ways to challenge them and engage them in their learning. When I challenge them, they are more engaged in the learning process, and school isn't such a chore for them.

My Project

I want to get more books in the hands of my students and I want them to be books that they can read at their level. Being able to get get sets of books that they can start reading right away will be amazing. Students love books and having more books that are fiction and non fiction will help to engage even the more reluctant reader. This will provide them with the opportunity to read about things that they are interested in and that they are able to read on their own!
