This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I love that my students bring energy, creativity, and resilience into everything they do. Many of them juggle responsibilities outside of school, support their families, and face real-life challenges every day, yet they show up and give their best. What makes them special is their ability to find joy in the little things and their desire to connect in meaningful ways.
These PlayStation 5 and multiplayer games will help me create a space where students can unwind, laugh, and build stronger relationships.
The gaming club will be more than just fun, it will be a space for social-emotional learning. Students will practice teamwork, communication, and sportsmanship, all while engaging in something they’re passionate about. For students who might not feel like they belong in traditional clubs or sports, this will give them a place to shine and feel included.
