My Project
The students in my class love when they have independent (and partner) reading time! They love choosing books from our classroom library and adding those books to their book bags. Later on, they read their books on their own or find a partner to read with! As much as they love reading, our class library lacks leveled reading books.
Leveled reading books are great for young readers because it exposes them to sight words and decodable words they are learning in real time.
These books target an array of different reading skills and therefore become helpful in teaching students how to read.
