Do you remember reading a book on your own for the first time? Kindergarten begins that journey and my students are at the age where they should enjoy reading. We are in need of a leveled library to begin this journey. Many students will be exposed to books for the very first time!

A Leveled Reading Library is a great tool to keep them engaged both independently and with a partner or two.
Welcome to my kindergarten classroom. My students are very energetic and eager to learn. I teach in a full day kindergarten, public school setting in Maryland. These children surprise you because they are so motivated to learn new things. They are intelligent, fun and hardworking.
My Project
We need a leveled reading library and mobile storage cart so that my students can be exposed to various books at different levels. With a class of 30 boys and girls, it is not always possible for students to read independently or with a buddy because of the lack of resources. Receiving additional library books will help encourage them to love books and reading, by taking them to the next level.
