Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My students are fun loving, hard working, and such a sweet group of kids. Many of my students are on free or reduced lunch and come from families that really struggle to get by. They are a very diverse group, and with that comes a wide range of abilities and circumstances, and it is often quite a challenge to meet each of their individual needs.
I believe that they all deserve individualized help in whatever area they are struggling in; whether that is behavioral, academic, social, or emotional.
My Project
These leveled book set readers will allow me to provide my students with instruction specific to their individual needs and reading abilities. By giving them exposure and access to these books at their level, they can develop their early reading skills and feel successful.
I will be able to use these books in small or even individual lessons that are unique to each child.
Having books that they are able to read and comprehend makes a huge difference for young readers, as it inspires and encourages them to continue growing in their love for reading. Thank you for helping my students to grow!
