My Students

Help us become fluent readers!! We are in need of leveled readers to help improve literacy and fluency. Students in our class come from different reading backgrounds and some need to improve in reading fluency and comprehension and others need a challenge!

The students in our class are from a Title 1, low income school, where the community is struggling to provide resources for our students.

The students in our school LOVE to read and are involved in an accelerated reading program that is school-wide.

My Project

These resources will give the students opportunities to become more fluent readers and have books available to read that they are interested in. Students will be able to conduct literature circles with their peers. This will help create a community of reading and comprehending.

Your donation will make a tremendous difference in our classroom.

Students will be better prepared to take state exams and master comprehension skills need to perform well. This will also improve writing skills as well.

This project will directly impact historically underfunded classrooms.
