I teach at a Title One school where almost one hundred percent of our students receive free breakfast and lunch. Many of my studetns don't have all the resources at home or books to read.
I teach a second grade, dual immersion class where the students receive 80% of their instruction in Spanish.
I have twenty-five students from various cultural backgrounds and by fifth grade, they will be bilingual and bi-literate. My students are very energetic and motivated to learn and become better readers.
We need some bins to organize our classroom library. Our goal is to have all the books organized by level so my students know what books are the right books for them.
My students are very motivated and know their reading level and what level they should be reading by the end of second grade.
Each student has an individual goal they need to get to. In order to help them pick the right book for them, we want to have our library books level that way they are not wasting much time finding and deciding what books are the perfect fit for them.
