This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students are passionate about gaming, teamwork, and strategy! Esports provides an exciting way for students to develop problem-solving skills, communication, and sportsmanship while competing in a structured and supportive environment.

This project will provide a large TV, allowing students to clearly see gameplay, analyze strategies, and engage in team discussions, a Nintendo Switch, expanding our game options and allowing more students to participate in competitive and cooperative play, and four pro controllers, giving students high-quality, comfortable controllers to improve their gameplay experience.

Many of my students do not have access to gaming consoles at home, so our esports club is a space where they can learn, compete, and build friendships. With this new equipment, we can create a more engaging and inclusive esports experience, helping students develop teamwork, perseverance, and leadership skills that extend beyond gaming.
