Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My request is for a 3D printer for our classroom. My students love using technology and using their hands. With a 3D printer, my 4th grade students will learn how to design and create using introductory 3D design programs. They will learn to cultivate skills needed in working with others and the use of technology in group projects and special design projects.
When students are able to create 3-D designs on their devices and see them physically brought to life, they learn skills that would otherwise be difficult to teach.
Please help my students engage in hands on learning - we have future engineers and designers in the making!
