This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students are creative, energetic, and full of school spirit. They’re the leaders of our student government class who is in charge of video announcements. They’re eager to leave their mark by telling the story of our school. These students work hard to make sure everyone feels included and celebrated, whether that’s capturing the perfect photo for the yearbook, designing pages that highlight student achievements, or producing engaging video announcements for the whole school to enjoy.
Right now, they have the vision and the ideas, but they don’t have the camera and vlogging tools they need to bring those ideas to life.
Video Announcements: Record and produce video announcements that keep our school informed, connected, and excited about upcoming events.
Each camera will give students a chance to learn through real-world projects where they take ownership, problem-solve, and create something meaningful for the entire student body. Most importantly, these resources will help students tell the story of our school, in their own voices and through their own lenses.
