Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My students love learning in different ways. We are an ICT classroom in Brooklyn, NY.
My classroom is full of eager learners, who have many different learning styles.
I have many students who are English language learners. Many of my students are visual and tactile learners.
My students love learning new things and creating things to show what they learned. They like to share what they have learned with other classes in our school. Science and Social Studies are the subjects that my students love the most.
My students also love using technology to increase their learning and to share what they learned. My students continue to amaze me every day with their knowledge and love for learning.
My Project
The books that I am requesting are all excellent mentor books. My students need to have access to a variety of books and authors. The books that I am requesting will be used to model excellent craft moves that my students can practice in their own writing pieces. The books also have a variety of reading skills that I will be able to teach into.
These books will teach my students many valuable reading and writing skills.
My students get excited about reading when the books are interesting. All of these books are very engaging and interesting to my 2nd graders. These books would increase the interest level in my classroom and help some of my students find the motivation to become better readers.
