Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Our students are kind and loving, but they missed out on a big chunk of social learning due to COVID-19. Unfortunately our first through third graders missed out on many essential friendship skills that kids usually learn in preschool and kindergarten with their peers. Our kiddos are trying hard to catch up, but could use a bit of a boost.

Help us level up their friendship skills with a set of cooperative games for them to play.

These games are designed to have children work together to meet a common goal rather than having them compete against each other. We have already seen wonderful increases in them using encouraging language and teamwork skills with the few cooperative games we have.
