My classroom has twelve wonderful students with special needs with intellectual disabilities and or autism. They are bused to our school to receive specialized instruction that cannot occur in a typical classroom. Their disabilities impact many different parts of their lives.
My Project
I work with a variety of special education students, and each student is working on a different level for writing, reading and math. To help meet each student on their level, I have create a writing, math and reading program that will grow with them.
The students are able to complete similar tasks with each student having a customized workbook on their level.
They are able to stay and rework the same level or move onto the next level, depending on their ability to independently complete tasks.
To help us keep track, each level has a different color of cover. I am in need of cardstock and colored paper to make the workbooks and laminate pages to ensure the books last long enough for my students to learn each concept.
