My Project
In my classroom, students bring more than just backpacks-they bring stories, challenges and an eagerness to learn.
As an educator in a fragile community, I strive every day to meet my students where they are academically, emotionally and socially.
This project seeks funding for materials that will support differentiated instruction in English Language Arts. This is a strategy that meets students at their unique reading levels, learning styles and personal interests. Every student-regardless f background-has the opportunity to grow and succeed.
Most of my students come from families that face economic hardship. Despite these challenges, they show up every day with determination. What they need now are tools that meet their individual needs, rather than a one-size-fits-all approach.
Differentiated instruction is crucial for helping students catch up, keep up and move ahead.
