My Project

I love that my students are energetic, creative, and full of potential. Even in tough circumstances, they show up with grit and heart. Many of them live in communities where resources are limited, but their dreams are big. This project allows me to use sports something they connect with as a powerful way to teach life skills like teamwork, leadership, communication, and perseverance. The basketballs, jump ropes, flag football gear, cones, pinnies, and journals will turn every game into a lesson, and every team huddle into a moment of growth. These tools will help them build confidence and character on and off the court.
