Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Often times, my students are asked to collaborate in group work or they need to stand and stretch.
Working with junior high students isn't always traditional, by having these stand up desks will help me allow my students to learn in untraditional ways when they need it.
Also, having stand up desks allows for me as a teacher to work with them at their level and not teaching from above them or down to them.
Learning from a standing position is a great strategy that many use, and having these desks as an option in my room will help with that strategy.
