it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Help me give my students the tools they need to thrive in our esports program! We’re requesting Super Smash Bros. Ultimate to expand participation, GameCube controllers with accessible designs for improved gameplay, and SD cards to record matches for self-review and reflective writing.
With these resources, we can create an inclusive and dynamic e-sports environment where every student has the opportunity to shine.
Adding Super Smash Bros. Ultimate will allow more students to participate in tournaments, fostering collaboration and team-building skills. The GameCube controllers’ larger buttons and ergonomic design make them more accessible for all players, ensuring everyone can comfortably join in. With SD cards, students will record matches, analyze strategies, and reflect on their growth—combining esports with critical thinking and writing.
Our goal is to create a supportive space where students can build teamwork, develop strategic thinking, and practice self-reflection. These skills are transferable far beyond gaming and will prepare them for success in school, college, and careers.
What makes my students at my school special is their passion and determination. Many of them are discovering their confidence through esports, finding a sense of belonging, and learning how to problem-solve in dynamic ways. They are creative, resilient, and eager to challenge themselves. Your support can help us take their potential to the next level!
