My Project
My students come to school excited to learn, but need necessary skills. Many students begin their school years lacking the tools that will enable them to read at grade level or above. Since I work with multiple grade levels, there are a variety of books at different reading levels.
I plan to use these books, notepads, pencils and erasers in bags for students in grades 1-3 on Back to School night to help excite them about reading.
As an interventionist, I use state required, data based curriculum to aid students in becoming better readers. These books will be used to reinforce their reading at home and to promote family involvement in these skills.
