Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Our students are special and one of a kind. For most of our Kindergarteners, this is their first experience in a school building. It can be overwhelming, scary, and out of their comfort zone. We aim to provide the best and safe environment with the best materials and resources we can. We are a small school in the heart of Harlem with a large population of minorities. We provide an experience that will create thinkers, risk-takers, inquirers, and world explorers. Nothing is too big out of reach to teach them. Having letter materials will not only help with fine motor development but will help the to head in the right direction to begin to read. It is a win-win. They deserve the best because they are our future leaders.
