Letters and Sounds for Little Hands

My Students

My class has wonderfully curious prekindergarten children. They are eager to learn and be exposed to new experiences. No challenge is too small or large as they approach them all with enthusiasm. They are happy, affectionate children who love to share themselves and and be engaged with the people and events happening in their world.

The children love to see what new opportunities are in store for the day.

Each day, they log in with smiles on their faces, excited to share whatever is on their minds. Despite the circumstances, the children are both inspired and inspirational.

My Project

Letters and their sounds are the very foundation for learning to read and beginning the journey of being lifelong learners. These materials will give the children the opportunity to learn these important concepts their favorite way...with their hands! Children will be able to use the dough stampers to make impressions of letters, their names and other words. They will be able use the rubbing plates to make to create pictures of letters and words that begin with the sounds of those letters.

The alphabet sounds teaching tubs and magnetic sound sorting boards will give the children the chance to further explore the letters and the sounds they make.

These materials and skills will definitely help put the children on the right track for learning to read and reading to learn!
