My students need alphabet manipulatives like fine motor games, alphabet books and an alphabet fishing set. These alphabet manipulatives will serve as centers during our letter of the week activities. These are highly engaging activities that are age appropriate and fun for preschoolers.
My students are amazing and I love what I do. It is such an inspiration to work with students with such specific and different needs. My students are all ages 3-4 and they are diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder. All of my students benefit from discrete trial instruction and ABA practices throughout our school day.
Each and every one of my students is exceptional.
They are exceeding in both social and academic growth and amaze me everyday. There are a lot of resources that are needed to teach students with such varying needs. They all love learning and strive to learn each and every day.
My Project
These math games, activities and magnets will provide students with age appropriate activities to help them learn letters. We will be using these manipulatives everyday during letter of the week activities. These manipulatives will help to teach the kids in an engaging way. My students love to learn and could benefit from more hands on activities to engage their minds. The project will benefit up to 12 pre-schoolers ages 3-4. The kids in my classroom are diagnosed with ASD and learn best with manipulatives and repetition with exposure to the content being taught. These manipulatives will serve as the additional practice the kids need.
