Let's Zoom Into Reading and Math Together

Help me give my students 3 high-interest reading books and a hands-on Math Problem Solving Workbook to continue their love of Reading and Math while also being able to share during Zoom lessons.

My Students

My students are an awesome group of boys and girls. They are so kind-hearted and caring as demonstrated by the projects we have worked on to give back to our local nursing home, pet shelter and Ronald McDonald House. As each holiday rolls around, they always ask what we are making and who are we surprising. Now is my chance to give back to them while they need it most to keep their daily life as normal as possible. Help me to help them please.

My Project

This grant will provide each student with 3 different fiction or nonfiction titles on their ability level to read at home while we are separated. They can test on the book for AR and share the book with classmates on Zoom during open discussions or on FLIPGRID. Most of my students have told me that they have read all 6 of the books I sent in the beginning of quarantine and have nothing left to read. If they do not have consistent access to a computer, they have no way to read daily. I also requested a Math workbook with cool ideas for us to use on Zoom to solve word problems or they could use with parents. Kids are asking for books please help me to put books in every students hands.
