My Project

The document camera is the new asset to classroom learning. It provides more versatility in presenting lessons for my students. Currently, I have limited options in presenting lessons to my students. I have a TV to present PowerPoints and Seesaw lessons. I have to use white board markers on the TV screen to model the strategies we are learning. It is often hard for all students to see. This isn't ideal when internet goes down and lessons are inaccessible.

The document camera allows all students access to the strategies through close up imagining.

This camera will also allow students to show their thinking to their peers through the use of camera modeling. At the 3rd grade level, students need modeling how to form letters correctly and writing reports in standard form. While using large notepads have their benefits, it doesn't help students understand writing within the margins.
