My Project
Literacy is the focus of our teaching and learning across our curriculum this year. As we look at the domains of communication (Listening Reading, Speaking and Writing) it has become apparent that we truly need to put more focus on helping our students become writers. The early stages of writing include scribbling, letter formation and so much more. We will use these writing materials to enhance these skill in our students. We will add these tools to our writing center and also use them in our small groups for guided writing practice. It is important for student to have many opportunities throughout their day to write freely and with some supports.
